David O’caoimh has been on the Deshaport Inc Rider team since 2018. He is a cable park and Wakeboard legend all the way from Dublin Ireland. When he’s not behind the boat or riding cable, he’s shooting unforgettable content for his youtube channel or exercising his passion for fast cars. One of David’s most memorable career moments takes place back in 2011. He competed in an event in Whales called Wakestock, where other athletes traveled from all over the world to compete. It was his first-ever pro contest, and he was up against some of the most experienced and top-level riders. He left Whales taking 1st place and says he still looks back at that moment and can’t help but smile. Upon asking David how he hopes to impact the sport throughout the duration of his career he replied, “I love making videos, wakeboarding, and also coaching others. So I hope that if I leave any impact, it’s that I helped others learn and progress their riding along the way, as well as introducing new people to the sport. The next few years for me are really going to be focused on this!” At Deshaport Inc, we are beyond grateful to have David on our team and can’t wait to see what he does next.
